I’ve made this so many times now, and it gets better each time

Components:

For the Cake:

1 box of white cake mix (approximately 18.25 ounces).

4 large eggs.

1 box of strawberry-flavored instant gelatin (around 3 ounces).

1 package of frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed and blended (approximately 15 ounces).

1/4 cup of water.

1/2 cup of vegetable oil.

For the Frosting:

7 cups of confectioners’ sugar.

1 package of softened cream cheese (8 ounces).

1/4 cup of softened butter.

1 package of frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed and blended (about 10 ounces).

Half a teaspoon of strawberry extract.

Directions:

Step 1

First, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.

Step 2

Then, in a mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, strawberry-flavored gelatin, pureed strawberries, eggs, vegetable oil, and water, and blend the substances together.

Step 3

After that, divide the batter evenly between the greased and floured cake pans, then bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick, when inserted, comes out clean.

Step 4

Next, for the frosting, blend butter and cream cheese until smooth, then add strawberry puree and extract, mix well.

Step 5

Add confectioners’ sugar gradually, beating until creamy.

Step 6

Once the cake layers have cooled, generously frost the cake with the strawberry cream cheese frosting.

Step 7

Optional: Decorate with fresh strawberry slices. Slice, serve, and enjoy your delightful strawberry cake!

Tips:

– Use fresh or thawed frozen strawberries.

– Check cake doneness with a toothpick.

– Cool cake layers completely.

Variations:
